Policing the internal threat
Strata Guard® monitors network traffic outside the firewall, inside the firewall, in the DMZ, and between strategic segments where you need to control direct links to untrusted networks and segments. Yes, Strata Guard protects you from external attacks, but it also detects internal network anomalies, enforces usage policies on local users, and generates data for internal forensic investigations.
Multiple sensors, one management console
A single Strata Guard sensor monitors up to four network segments. In environments where more than four segments need to be monitored, Strata Guard's Multi-node manager is the ticket.
The Multi-node manager centrally manages an unlimited number of Strata Guard instances, making it an ideal solution for mid-tier and large enterprise networks.
Through the Multi-node manager (shown in the graphic at left), attack rules are shared among all or a subset managed nodes, simplifying administration and ensuring a consistent security posture network-wide. Likewise, reporting can be consolidated across multiple Strata Guard nodes, or reports can be run on individual nodes to view segment-specific attack data. Security team members can be assigned read-only access to specific nodes, allowing them to monitor and report activity but not alter node configuration.
